Welcome to the Games Convention 2005 in Leipzig, Germany: As you can see, we got some cool water shaders and nicely designed buildings here too, but the bloom effects from HL2 are missing? |

Inside you get to see innovative and exciting new games, like erm .. FIFA? Again? |

Like last year a lot of Star Wars Storm-Troopers enforced law and order! I (abi) had a hard time explaining myself as a peaceful programmer. But the empire doesn't care, every coder is a rebell. Luckily I could escape because it was very crowded. |

Even little booths had to present their games with help of nice babes. We could imagine that from now on most of the pictures would be dominated by babes :) |

Racing games are in, at least you get the impression from the massive amount of cars and racing games presented on the fair. Sadly we couldn't burrow one of them to drive a little go-kart. |

After escaping the Storm-Troopers I had no trouble lifting this EA car. Coders have to be not only smart, but also some strength in their arms, at least if you want to be like a action star. |

Well, this is a german issue. This is an anti priracy booth where you can sit in a prison to see how software prirates have to live. Anyway, on this fair it would have been not too bad for gamers to sit in this prison, its cheaper than hotels, not as overfilled and you have a very short distance to the fair. |

We got TEEEE-SHOOOORTS, free TEEE-SHOOOORTS! And in a couple of seconds everything is blocked. Well, not a surprise with that many visitors this year (over 134 000 visitors, over 33% more than last year). |

"Die Pyramide" (german budget publisher) had a cool booth with a turn table in the middle and some nice babes on top of it. |

Singstar: Embarrass yourself in front of hundereds of people .. and you won't even get a tshirt. |

X-BOX 360: The new designer toaster from microsoft for gamers. We are not very sure that you can really play on these things, there wasn't any playable game on this fair and it looks like an easter presentation, doesn't it? |

Eidos presents aside from Tomb Raider another action hero: Hitman. But the crucial question remains: How much bigger did Lara Crofts boobs get this time? I think Hitman is a really nice guy, even when he has to strangles some babes (well, in the case of Paraworld I wouldn't act differently). |

Our handsome Leif didn't have any troubles getting some babes. Unlike the usual photos you see with girls from this fair, this one from Speedlink couldn't get enough of Leif. |

Get a massage while playing some games, that sounds pretty cool. But how can I do this at home and while finetuning the newest water shader settings .. hmm. |

The partys were great! Especially the 10tacle party was very hot with all those girls running around and turning themselfs on. 7 hot brides did take care of a good party mood. 10tacle's party on saturday did make the news because unlike other parties usual players were invited too. |

Don't I know that guy? The question is not how exciting this sequel is, but why do the Activision people barricade the entrace? |

Even the american police was in Leipzig. I was very impressed and had no problem with getting arrested by this nice personal. As you can see, I was also one of the biggest marketing and PR actions for Arena Wars on this fair (hold your magnifying glass over my right pocket). |

E-Sport in Hall 4: Unlike last year there wasn't a big Samsung booth for all the e-Sport events, but everyone had his own booth (Giga, ESL, NGL, ESP, whatever). Anyway: E-Sports was again one of the biggest events this year on the GC. |
|
|
 |
|
 |
 |
|
 |
|
 |
The amazing Unreal Tournament 2007: After showing a small trailer you could see "LIVE" and "for the first time" a prerendered Ingame-Video .. erm, a "realtime?" game. Who knows, seems always to be that way. Do players care about the truth? |

Some Bodypaint-Babes from Giga and Deep Silver. The Storm-Troopers has a lot of advantages over a usual visitor because of his visor (guess where he is looking at). Maybe this model even got the see-through mode and could watch the babes naked :) |

Meet our boring booth in the Business-Center, where every booth looks the same. But thats for business, everyone looks the same, why shouldn't the booth dress the same way? If you look closely you can see that the presentator has hovercraft mouse (or was the mousepad just very bad?). |

On saturday it was much easier to go with a battle ax around the halls. You can see the blizzard booth in the background showing StarCraft Ghost, but why the hell does everyone look in the wrong direction? |
|

Bodypainting was very trendy! Even at the nicely arranged chillout places the babes tested if the paint would stick more on the skin or the pillows. |

The poor boys at the WoW booth: Even when they had to go to the toilet players would surround them and asking for WoW shirts like crazy. On the WoW computers the players explained to the developers how to play the game, not the other way around as usual. |

Microsoft did push their X-Box with less known rappers singing known rapper songs to get the groove going. It worked, even at the end of this day the crowd was in high spirit. |

Ok, thats it for this year from the Games Convention. As you can see here exDream is looking into a bright future. There is a lot to come, stay tuned. |
